Rescue Acne Foaming Cleanser has been meticulously created to nurture and protect the skin’s all-important moisture barrier which is vital to clear glowing skin. It is a known fact that over-cleansing and stripping the skin of vital oils, using harsh detergents means more production of oil and more acne.
This gentle foaming cleanser contains plant-based biodegradable surfactants (cleansing agents) that respect the skin’s pH and moisture balance. These include oats amino acid, sugar, and coconut-derived cleansing agents, proven to be gentler on the skin and just as important, safer for the environment. It is delicately infused with a biodegradable micelle-surfactant (cleansing agent) containing a small number of oil molecules such as Glyceryl Oleate to further help to dissolve makeup residue and oil.
The addition of White Willow Bark (natural salicylic acid) in this foaming cleanser helps to stimulate the natural exfoliation on the skin surface and within the pores, where impurities accumulate. It has excellent antioxidant protection and antimicrobial action reducing inflammation and redness, delivering all the benefits associated with synthetic salicylic acid which is commonly used in mainstream products on the market today. Above all, it is proven that the willow bark is more gentle and non-drying on the skin.
